Our Burgh Island Swim is a guided 1.6km adventure around the island's rugged coastline, taking you through arches, gullies, and sea caves carved by centuries of Atlantic swell. Every swim is shaped by the conditions on the day, making each experience unique.
We begin at Bigbury Beach with a full safety briefing and swim plan before entering the water and making our way around the island either clockwise or anti-clockwise, depending on tides and sea conditions. Along the route, there are opportunities to pause, explore, and take in the incredible scenery that makes this coastline so special.
This swim offers a sense of adventure while remaining fully supported by our experienced open water safety team. We prioritise confidence, communication, and participant enjoyment throughout the experience.
