South Hams Hike Swim Day

An unforgettable full-day coastal adventure combining swimming, hiking, exploration, and incredible scenery.

Aerial view of the South Hams coastline

The Hike Swim Day takes you on a journey along the South Hams coastline between Bigbury and Hope Cove, covering around 8km of hiking and 5km of swimming. Along the route, we visit some of the area's most iconic swim locations, including the Bantham Swoosh, Burgh Island, and Thurlestone Rock.

This experience is about far more than distance. It's about exploring hidden corners of the coastline, moving between land and sea, and experiencing the coast from a completely different perspective. Expect cliff paths, remote swim spots, turquoise water, and a true sense of adventure throughout the day.

Using RuckRafts, we carrry our own food, snacks and clothes with us as we meander along the coastline. Each section is fully guided and supported by our experienced team, ensuring the day feels safe, achievable, and enjoyable for every participant.

For those wanting the perfect finish, there is also the option to add a recovery sauna session after the adventure.
