Our Swoosh and Sauna experience combines the thrill of moving water with the calm of a beachside sauna, creating one of the most unique wild swimming experiences in the South Hams.
Starting at Bantham Quay, we swim (or float) 1.6km down the River Avon as the tidal current gently carries us towards Bigbury Beach. Along the way, you'll experience the feeling that gives the "swoosh" its name, gliding effortlessly through beautiful estuary scenery with our experienced safety team alongside you.
Once we reach the beach, you'll warm up with a sauna session from Steamworks Sauna, overlooking the coastline you've just explored. After the sauna, we take a relaxed 1km walk back along the sandy riverbanks before jumping back into the river for the fastest and most exciting section of the swoosh all over again.
